Sutherland Artificial Turf Field Conceptual Site Plan and Mitigating Measures

In a site selection analysis by CBA, Sutherland Secondary School was identified as the preferred location for an artificial turf field to replace fields being lost elsewhere in the City. Because of neighbourhood concerns raised during the field replacement study, CBA conducted an environmental assessment, public consultation process, and conceptual design for the Sutherland Secondary School site, incorporating mitigating measures. The process involved an Advisory Group of key interests with whom a consensus-based planning process was conducted, and two public open houses.
