Wexford Creek Integrated Stormwater Management Plan

This project involved development of an integrated stormwater management plan for a suburban watershed in Nanaimo. The innovative study was also undertaken as a prototype for other watersheds. CBA was a subconsultant responsible for the land use planning component. This included: identification of options for creek location, setbacks and associated land use changes in the proposed Town Centre, and working with the project team to identify and illustrate appropriate low-impact development standards applicable to various land use types. The project involved extensive consultation with the City, other agencies, interest groups, and the public.
